T-ara’s Jiyeon and IU have made different decisions regarding their college education.
The ‘93-ers are known to be best friends in the entertainment industry, and they’ve recently had to evaluate which direction they were going to take with regards to their education. Many other high school seniors their age will be entering college in 2012, and Jiyeon has decided that she will be doing the same.
On August 24th, T-ara’s company representative revealed, “Jiyeon will apply as a rolling admissions candidate for several different colleges very soon. Jiyeon will apply where she will be able to utilize her talents and expertise best.”
Jiyeon is currently promoting “Roly-Poly” with her fellow T-ara members, and will soon be focusing on their Japanese promotions in September.
On the other hand, IU has decided to stick with her decision in refraining from college applications this year. IU’s company representative stated, “As we announced before, IU will not apply for college admissions this year. We don’t know what will happen after this year, but IU wants to focus more on music at this point in time.”
IU is currently busy preparing for her upcoming album, which is scheduled for release in October.
