On June 21st, 2PM released their much-anticipated music video for “Hands Up“ through their YouTube page. While the song is currently sweeping music charts, the music video itself is also garnering some special attention, thanks to its edgy style.
“Hands Up” was filmed in Korea and Singapore, and it features scenes with a party-like atmosphere, such as Wooyoung enjoying champagne while flying first class, Chansung tanning on a sunbed, Junho on a yacht, and Taecyeon taking time off to relax. Even though these ‘day-time scenes’ are luxurious enough on their own, the music video takes a 180-degree turn in style when the sun goes down. The members all re-locate to an exciting club with cocktails in hand and a bumpin’ beat.
Fans all over the world thought that the stylish video was a perfect fit for their new musical style, which alsobrought out the charms of each member to a T.
With both the song and the MV’s viewer stats soaring high, the bar of anticipation for their comeback stage has definitely been raised.
Stay tuned to allkpop for their comeback performance on KBS’s “Music Bank” this week!
