Today it was revealed that nine-member Korean girl group After School will finally release their first Japanese single.
The so-called “Triple S” group – Sexy, Style and Show – already collaborated with hip-pop-queen Amuro Namie earlier this year, and after launching their official Japanese website as well as performing at a big fashion show in Tokyo, it was only a matter of time for them to announce their official Japanese debut.
Their first single, a Japanese version of their hit song “Bang!“, is slated for a release on August 17th. Before that, one month prior to their official debut, on July 17th, the group will hold their first solo performance at Akasaka BLITZ in Tokyo.
Leader Kahi concluded about their upcoming Japanese debut, “We will work hard in order to show everyone in Japan why we are known as a group with fascinating performances in Korea. We want to meet all of you soon!”
