Super Junior reveals tracklist details for their 5th album

Details have been revealed about Super Junior’s upcoming fifth album!

Scheduled to drop on August 2nd at 12AM KST, Super Junior’s album will first be available through online music sites like mel0n, Dosirak, Bugs Music, and Naver.

The 5th album was said to be inspired by the struggles and hardships felt by society today. Their lead track, “Mr. Simple“, deals with the loss of hopes and dreams, and its message will be carried out through an aggressive choreography that’s sure to captivate fans all over the world.

Other songs on this album include “Good Friends“, a work that was inspired by Super Junior’s past memories. Meanwhile, “Opera” is a track that presents the listener with the realism of present-day society. It carries a “reverse dance beat” with lyrics that encourage the audience to overcome any hardships and obstacles.

Moving on, “Walk in” is a pop dance track that re-tells the members’ memories. The pace of the album slows down with R&B track, “Y“,which was composed by member Donghae; it expresses the emotional downfall caused by a break-up.

“Silly Thoughts” is a remake of JINU’s 1996 hit, which tells of a wish to have a white christmas in the middle of summer. Described to have a rock melody, “Silly Thoughts” aims to brush away the stifling feelings brought on by a humid summer.

Other songs on the album include K.R.Y.’s ballad, “My Love, My Kiss, My Heart“, “Following My Memories“, “Be My Girl (La La La La)”, “Feels Good“. The album hosts a total of 13 tracks, as well as a bonus track featuring Super Junior-M’s “Perfection“.

Two teasers for “Mr. Simple” will be released on August 1st, and will be made available on the SMTOWN Facebook Page, on Super Junior’s Facebook page, and on SM Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

KARA to endorse ‘Red Vinegreat Drink’ in Japan

KARA has been chosen as the Japanese advertisement models for Chung Jung Won’s drink product, “Red Vinegreat Drink“!

Thanks to their cute and healthy image, the girls have acquired quite the fanbase in Japan.

CFs for the brand will begin airing in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya starting this month with KARA at the forefront of their campaign. KARA will be emphasizing their healthy and slim body lines to show what could be achieved by drinking the product.

Aside from TV CFs, Chung Jung Won will be planning several events and fan signings to further promote the brand. Representatives explained, “By choosing KARA as our Japanese models, we’re looking forward to the rise in sales and the advancement of our image. Once fans found out that KARA was contracted for our drink, we recorded $1.2 million USD in sales, 10 times more than the standard.”

They continued, “We believe that KARA will be able to deliver our drink’s keyword of ’skincare’ and ‘body management’ to our consumers, as our target base is women in their 20s to 30s.”

Nichkhun receives 0 votes on ‘Dream Team’

2PM’s Nichkhun received a ‘0 vote’ embarrassment!

Through KBS ‘Dream Team’, aired on July 31st, 2PM had a competition with ‘Dream Team’ members.  Before the competition, Junho and Nichkhun we asked to form partners with one of their fans. However, most of the fans chose Junho as their partner, leaving Nichkhun partner-less with no votes of interest.

Nichkhun later chose a student, but she stated that she was Wooyoung’s fan. She stated that she was not too happy being partnered with Nichkhun, leaving Nichkhun lost for words.

Netizens commented, “It’s because he is a married man.”, “An embarrassment for the Thai prince Nichkhun.”, and “Did you guys not choose him because you are afraid of Victoria?”

miss A’s Min and Wonder Girls’ Ye Eun show their close friendship through a series of selcas

JYP Nation’s Min of miss A and Ye Eun of the Wonder Girls recently got together and shot a cute series of doll-like selcas.
On July 31st, Ye Eun wrote on her Twitter, “We’re practicing at the moment~ keke”, and attached two pictures of the duo.
The series of eight photos show Min and Ye Eun posing for the camera with various cute expressions, all the while wearing comfortable training clothes for their dance practice.
Fans commented, “It’s nice to see that you guys looks so close”, “You look like two sisters”, and “You guys both look like dolls.”
