Super Junior rates their best and worst looking members

On August 23rd, ten members of Super Junior guested on SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ and ranked each other according to their looks.
The group unanimously agreed on Choi Siwon being #1.
They explained, “The absolute #1 is Choi Siwon. He has looks that all of the members acknowledge. It’s actually the bottom half that’s hard to rank.”
When asked to choose a specific member that they thought was unattractive, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook chose Eunhyuk. They reasoned, “Just looking at it 100% from a looks-based point of view, Eunhyuk comes last”, and “I’m jealous of everything about Eunhyuk… except his looks.”
Eunhyuk retorted, “I’m not saying I’m handsome or anything, but I don’t think Ryeowook is a position to be saying things like that.” Hilariously, he then chose Ryeowook as the least attractive member.
Ryeowook responded, “Eunhyuk’s face was covered for our recent concept. I think our company knows that Eunhyuk is lacking in the looks department.”
At this point, Heechul spoke up and said, “I thought Eunhyuk was handsome up until today, but I think the three have a brainwashing effect.  Seeing him now, his face is a bit…” MC Kang Ho Dong agreed by laughing while stating, “Eunhyuk’s face does look a bit complicated.”
Siwon joined the guys in teasing Eunhyuk by adding, “Kang Ho Dong is more handsome than Eunhyuk,” to which Eunhyuk retorted by saying, “Ho Dong hyung is just a lump!”

MBLAQ’s Thunder is the “real Mona Lisa”

On April 14th, the ‘Superstar KBS’ corner of KBS’s ‘Gag Concert‘ featured a special trot parody of MBLAQ’s latest hit, “Mona Lisa“.

Then out came member Thunder in a long wig and no eyebrows, making a perfect transformation into ‘the real Mona Lisa’. Shocked audience members burst out laughing while Thunder put on his own comedic dance show.
Kim Jae Wook praised, “MBLAQ’s ‘Mona Lisa’ is so popular lately.  It’s true, all I have to sing is one line and everyone else already knows what comes next.” On the spot, he sang a line and turned the mic over to an audience member, only to be met hilarious with silence.

Remember when we reported about how similar TEEN TOP’s Chunji and 2PM’s Nichkhun looked? Well the two celebrities delighted fans by taking a fun selca together!
Through his Twitter and me2day, Chunji shared a photo of himself with Nichkhun along with the caption, “A selca shot I took with Nichkhun hyung yesterday! It’s an honor! I’m sorry, I don’t look like you. Thank you for greeting me so nicely.
Although Chunji made headlines for his similar looks to the 2PM star, his comments conveyed a sense of humility and slight embarrassment, as he showed that he felt a little overwhelmed by the attention.
Netizens commented, “A proof shot of the look-alikes. You’re both so handsome“, “I can’t tell if you do or don’t look like him but it’s nice to see you both so friendly“, and “Chunji looks fine next to Nichkhun, who’s known to have such a small face. I’m curious how small Chunji’s face is in real life.”
Teen Top is currently busy promoting “No More Perfume On You” through music programs and fan sign meetings.

Lee Seung Gi talks about the pressures of variety shows

On the August 14th episode of KBS’s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, Lee Seung Gi revealed that he had gone through a period of severe hair loss due to the pressures of advancing into the variety industry as a singer.
Lee Seung Gi began said, “Variety shows are a lot of pressure for singers. When I first began three years ago, I couldn’t even sleep right. During ‘X-Man‘ and ‘Heroine 6‘, everything just felt so stressful that I wanted to run away from it all. My heart felt so heavy after the dancing segments.”
He continued by confessing, “I was so stressed from it all that I began losing hair over it. It was difficult having to come up with a new dance every week for a variety show. Around the time that I thought that I was lacking in variety skills, I joined ‘1 Night 2 Days’.”
On joining the show, he commented, “The hyungs kept telling me that I was doing okay. They sacrificed themselves by playing the evil roles for me. Thinking about it now, it was difficult for me, but my hyungs’ strengths made what I was doing look bigger than it actually was.”
