Idol group SMASH to release a Korean album within the year

After Tony An revealed that he was producing a male idol group yesterday, fans of SMASH (the other idol group under his agency) have been questioning the whereabouts of the band.
TN Entertainment revealed, “SMASH has been in production since before Tony An’s enlistment in the army in 2008. They’ve made their debut in Japan first.”
SMASH, who’s currently busily promoting in Japan, previously greeted their Korean fans in 2008 with a mini-album. While they were originally comprised of six members, the group cut down to five for their Japanese promotions.
Through Newsen, another representative stated, “SMASH will be holding a mini-concert in Tokyo and Osaka at the end of this month. After concluding their concerts, we’ll begin discussions on their Korean album. They will be releasing a Korean album within the year, but further details have yet to be confirmed.”
